Sick Six is an up and coming rap/hip hop artist, producer, and engineer from Philly. His sound is best described as an unorthodox combination of rhythmic beats and tight melodies coupled with skilled lyricism. A multi talented beast, Sick Six makes sticky beats and melodies, produces, engineers, raps, writes, freestyles, and is a growing graphic designer.
Sick Six started making music in November 2007 when he recorded his first track, Throw Your Hands Up with Ill Aphillyates and Doap Nixon. His first album, Pain is Poems, was released on June 6, 2009, Six’s 27th birthday. Since then Six has become an unstoppable force, releasing three projects over the past three years.
Following the release of his first album, Six started building up his own in-home studio, The Paintbooth, allowing him to cultivate his own rhythmic beats, core style and sound. In 2010, Six released his second album, Dead Thoughts and on New Year’s Day 2011, Six’s third album, Still Dead was released. Relentless, Six is currently working on his fourth project "Pandemic", a collaboration album with Italian producer Sick Luke. Continuing his lyrical journey, Six recently joined forces with the independent artists group Krush Unit, alongside artists like Side Effect, Brainstorm, Adlib, and producers Sev One and Stress The White Boy. The group is currently working on the Krush Unit E.P and an upcoming Snowgoons VS Krush Unit collaboration. Six is also working with Stress The White Boy on the anticipated Stress Files series of releases.
